Life's been crazy since skyping home became a thing. Maraming salamat po (thanks so much)  to those who stay tuned into my blog. I feel like theres not much new to report until I try to report so here's a bullet point overview of whats new with me. 

I got transfered! same apartment, different room and area. I'm training a 22 year old Filipino. She's pretty awesome we've had to figure out a lot because we white washed the area meaning we both were new to it. And it's huge compared to my last area. All is well though we have 3 families on date for baptism but we'll see how it plays out. 

I hit my 6 month mark in the field. My mtc companion stayed in my old area and so we're now roommates so we celebrated together with a tub of icecream. I bought this ice cream with the intention of making it last but I mangaed to eat it all in a night. I'd say it was worth it. 

I ate balut again because I had to prove that I'm not maarte. Honestly it's not bad it tastes like your hard boiled egg but the texture gets to you. 

We tried jogging here and I about died it's too hot and I now know why I never see anyone running in the streets. 

We got locked out of our house and my roommate managed to unlock our door with a lamenated paper ... I now get why we have 4 locks on our door (I'll send a picture next week) 

Spiritual thought: I know I've written about things of eternal worth before but I'm revisiting this topic because in Jesus The Christ this week I read "The man whose treasure is of earth leaves it all at death; he whose wealth is in heaven goes to his own and death is but the portal to his treasury". Now lets think of the song Have I done any good in the world today. it says "wake up and do something more than dream of your mansion above" but lets dream of that mansion. Because what we do on earth determines our mansion in heaven. As silly as it is you can look at it this way when you help someone move you just built the foundation of your mansion when you read the book of mormon you just built the door... I'm sure it doesn't work that way but how else do we build up our wealth in heaven because THATS what I'm trying to do! "Doing good is a pleasure a joy beyond measure" Idk I challenge all of us to build HUGE mansions in heaven :)
